What a hard (but fun!) decision about which book to buy! Either "Interpreter of Maladies" or "The Namesake" by Jhumpa Lahiri would be a contender, since I just finished "Unaccustomed Earth" and really enjoyed it.

I know exactly what I'd get. A new copy of A TREE GROWS IN BROOKLYN. It is my 2nd favorite book (GONE WITH THE WIND first) and I only have my mom's original copy. So when I find people ALL THE TIME who haven't read this classically wonderful book, I want to loan it to them but my mom's book is a keepsake and too valuable to me to take any chances. Plus, I'd like to read it again and would feel better when the clutz I am spills something on it. SO THAT is what I'd get with the card.

Ok...what book would I get...well with 3 pages of wish lists on Amazon..many to choose from!! But I think that one I just put on lately would be the one I would get called "Prayers for Sale" by Sandra Dallas...looks really good!!
