Thursday Thunks (09.03.09)

Welcome to the September 3rd version of Thursday Thunks!
(which we always seem to post on Wednesday)
Where we make you think a little bit before you blog!
This week we will answer some crazy questions brought to you by Berleen, the number one thousand twenty six and the color of the dirt spot you need to wipe up on your kitchen floor.

1. Your thoughts on truck drivers?
Nonexistent (my thoughts, that is)

2. Did you hear Michelle Duggar is pregnant for the 15th time? (but that will be kid #19 if you lost count....)
Seriously?! Why am I not surprised? That's all I'll say on that, though.

3. Have you ever done something to hurt someone intentionally... just for the sole purpose of hurting them because you thought they deserved it? Maybe a paybacks a bitch sort of thing?
No, not that I haven't fantasized about it a time or two, though.... he, he, he...

4. Is there anyone in your life that when you go to their place of residence, you just walk in without bother knocking? Does anyone just walk into your house without knocking?
My parents' house! But they usually ring the doorbell at our place, go figure.

5. Whats in the trunk of your car? Do you even have a clue?
A couple of those empty boxes you get at wholesale stores (in this case BJ's) and maybe a golf umbrella???

6. When you go to a family holiday get together (such as Christmas or Thanksgiving), about how many people are there?
Um, on my side usually around 12 or so. On my husband's side, around 8 or 9.

7. What is in your kitchen sink right at this very moment?
A dirty pan or two.

8. You go to a store to buy an expensive item... say $150. You pick up that item and a couple other this n' thats. You get to the register and the expensive item rings up at $40. The cashier doesn't seem to notice and tells you your total. Do you go with what they say and pay it or do you question the price difference? You know you would question it if your $40 item rang up at $150....
That's funny, this just happened to a friend of mine. She didn't say anything because the cashier had been talking to someone on her headset and figured that since they didn't cause the mistake, she wouldn't say anything this time. As for me, it's happened before and I did say something, but it was in the system at the lower price and they didn't really try to look into it. Honestly, I probably wouldn't say anything these days, though, I dunno...

9. Do you fold your underwear or do you just toss it in a drawer?
99% of the time I toss it in.

10. There is a Harley-Davidson giveaway. Chances are $100 and they are only selling 250 tickets. Do you buy one?
He** no! I couldn't care less!

11. Who is your favorite Disney character?
Sleeping Beauty or Ariel, it's a tough choice.

12. It's September - most of the weekly sitcoms/dramas are starting new seasons again. Which one are you most looking forward to?
The Big Bang Theory right now, and I'm hoping Heroes is better this season, in January it'll be Lost and 24.

13. You are at a grocery store and are on your way out to your car with your cart full of grocery bags. On your way to your car you see a black kitten in an empty cart. What do you do?
Probably nothing. I'm a terrible person, I know. What can I do but tell someone else anyway? I plead cat allergies...

14. Is there anything that you do for a hobby that you are asked to do for friends/family that most people would hire a professional to do? (example: cake decorating, fixing cars....)

15. Are we there yet?
I think so.

  1. I'm obsessed with the Big Bang Theory! :) And Lost.

  2. Great questions this week and even better answers.
No.3: I have fantasized about soo many times but in all honesty I hope I'll never go past fantasizing lol!

  3. I hope this season of 24 is better than the last. Divers, getting into the White House and taking everyone hostage was a big leap.

Poor kitty. Just kidding. If it were a dog I would probably find someone to take it. I am a good at delegating. Kitties though.. I would probably take it home and then find a home for it.

  4. in my experience, when ever you tell a cashier they made a mistake, they just let it go and give it to you for that price anyway...

  5. Ha! I wouldn't tell the cashier either. It's probably over-priced anyway.
But don't walk away from the poor little kitty, that's sad:(

  6. Cool questions this week and loved your answers. I'm kinda embarrassed to admit I wouldnt say anything to the cashier either, I'd just think, woohoo, spare cash to buy more books LOL
